This Institute of Applied Technology Digital (IAT-D) Cyber Range Training Centre (CRTC) is an innovative and state-of-the-art Cyber Range platform, developed by the Macquarie University Cyber Security Hub. The CRTC provides a scalable and customisable Cyber Security education framework and real-world hands-on platform for Cyber Security micro-credentials and micro-skills, and a secure environment for organisations’ Cyber capabilities and resilience enhancement.
Dynamic Micro-credentials
Co-designed and co-delivered by specialised education and industry partners, including TAFE NSW, Macquarie University, UTS and Microsoft, CRTC offers various levels of learning ranging from technical Cyber Security skills to the Cyber Governance and Policy Compliance functions.
Robust Cyber Range Platform
Hands-on training is essential to learners achieving Cyber Security skills. CRTC offers a virtual environment in an isolated network for students to safely practise real security tools, real infrastructure, and real attacks. It facilitates rapid development of practical cybersecurity skills, enhances skill sets, and provides the necessary knowledge to tackle future threats successfully.
Real World Exercises
Simulations Exercises include realistic labs and simulations, based on the real attack scenarios and supported by data recorded during real cyber attacks.
Tactics & Techniques The Cyber Range allows trainees to learn adversarial tactics and techniques observed in the wild, and to collaborate on detection and response scenarios in a coordinated way
